Sometimes people ask why scan?
The answer can be pretty simple. The best example, is to offer information of what you are cutting into when taking out a concrete slab or core during construction. During building construction many things are laid into the concrete before it is poured.

This is a job that had many things laid within the concrete that are clearly marked out. The scan job was called off part of the way through since the contractor decided that there was already too many thing embedded to successfully do a concrete cut in this area. So our job was moved to another site in the building to search for other viable options.

It’s important to know what you are breaking through when concrete cutting. Ensuring that you aren’t cutting through needed conduits or cables or even causing structural damage.

So, this is a prime example of why you should scan.
